Doug and His Money

This is a silly little tale which was put together to meet the requirements of one of the daily challenges!

This is a tale of a man called Doug, who decided one day to get money,
But he had an adventure on the way to the bank and at this point the tale becomes funny!
For Doug had a fear of every desert, from the cream cake to the humble swiss roll,
The start of this phobia, so he’d been told, had begun with a small, evil mole.
One day Doug’s own mother explained the beginning, after Doug had remembered to ask her,
That the mole had been evil and had tortured our friend, with a gun that fired cold Baked Alaska.
So Doug had been harmed, in a serious way, his brain’s woes seemed without ends,
But fortunately our Doug found solace at last, surrounded by all his great friends.
This tale ends here, as well that it should, for I’ve taken the time I’m allowed,
And so it seems fitting, that our epic poem, should end with a Mayonnaise-Cloud.
